As November draws closer, political advertisements seem to be everywhere. These ads are usually intended to give voters reasons to choose a certain candidate based on his or her prior experience and views on political issues. More than 100 school districts in 17 states have adopted a four-day school week through the past few decades. With recent gas prices skyrocketing and a drop in the economy, the idea is beginning to appeal to an increasing number of school districts. This is not only an efficient way to save money by using less gas, but also a way to offer students a longer weekend, hopefully leading to more enthusiastic students.
